2rt.studio Presents Immersive Lenticular and AR Artworks at Art On Paper 2025, Pier 36 NYC
New York, NY – August 2025 – 2rt.studio, a forward-thinking creative studio at the intersection of art and technology, is proud to announce its participation in Art On Paper 2025 at Pier 36, New York. Visitors can find the studio’s curated showcase at Booth E13, where innovative lenticular and AR-enhanced works by artists Ruoyun(Dry) Dai and Jiayue Li will be on view.
Founded in early 2025, 2rt.studio is redefining how digital art is created, collected, and experienced. By merging traditional techniques with emerging technologies like AI, AR, and lenticular printing, the studio transforms intangible digital expressions into collectible, fine art objects. After a successful debut at the San Francisco Art Fair earlier this year, 2rt.studio continues to challenge the boundaries of contemporary art presentation.
Featured Artists and Works
Ruoyun (Dry) Dai, an award-winning multidisciplinary designer and artist, brings two distinctive collections to the fair. With an educational background in architecture from the University of Liverpool and an MFA from Parsons School of Design, her practice centers around human psychology, dreams, and interactive storytelling.
Her piece, New York Knows How, is a pencil drawing embedded with an NFC chip that activates an AR animation when tapped with a smartphone. This touch-responsive work subtly transforms a rainy New York moment into an interactive experience, revealing emotional resilience and quiet imagination.
Complementing this is her lenticular art series New York, New York, New York, which anthropomorphizes city animals to reflect on the grit, humor, and emotional weight of urban life. Each 18x18-inch lenticular print—The Pigeons from Jersey, The Rat on Fifth, and The Squirrels in SoHo—features up to 56 frames, creating motion-filled narratives that bring New York’s contrasting rhythms to life. Through Dai’s lens, these everyday animals become metaphors for survival, speed, and solitude in the city that never sleeps.
Also featured is the work of Jiayue Li, an illustrator and designer originally from Chengdu, China, and now based in New York. Li holds degrees from Tongji University and the School of Visual Arts. Her work blends mysticism, daily observation, and feminine empowerment.
In collaboration with 2rt.studio, Li reimagines her pencil-based illustrations through lenticular printing, turning still portraits into dreamlike sequences. Her layered narratives explore emotional nuance, symmetry, and the quiet magic of everyday moments—inviting viewers to engage deeply, frame by frame.
